Meet Some of Our Students |

Esther Batsheva Pirogovskaya is originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She was a part time student of the Midrasha in Frankfurt while working for the research- and development center of Mazda Motor Europe. She then moved to Düsseldorf where she studied fashion design. In 2009 she moved to Berlin and continued her Tora studies at the Midrasha. At the end of 2010 she started her own fashion label “Malchut”: http://www.malchut-online.com/ .For Esther Batsheva the Midrasha is a harmonious combination of work life and personal development through the study of Tora.
Michal Mikhalko was born in Mosel, Belarus. At the age of 8 she moved with her family to Moscow, where she attended the Jewish High School. The impressions she got during a Schabbat Seminar at the Midrasha inspired her to enroll in our fulltime program in summer 2011.
Rachel Gofman was born in Ukraine and moved with her parents to Germany at a young age. During the last years she visited the Midrasha often for Schabbat until in 2011 she decided to move there. Presently, Rachel is studying part-time at the Midrasha and is completing her Abitur.
Genia (Batsheva) Novominska was born in Kiev and moved with her family to Germany in 1997. She joined the Midrasha in autumn 2009 and is at the same time going for a master´s degree in "German as a Foreign Language" at the Berlin University of Technologies.
