Rabbi Yoel Smith, Rosh Yeshiva

Rabbi Smith is a renowned Torah scholar and authority in all areas of Jewish law. He is the director of the yeshiva and is personally involved with each student's individual development. Rabbi Smith also serves as the head of the Lauder Midrasha. As head of the Community Kollel for Central Europe he also runs the smicha program at Yeshivas Beis Zion. He and his wife Chaya Meryl moved to Berlin in 2006 after spending six years serving in the Jewish community of Glasgow, Scotland. They have two daughters and a son.

Rabbi Dovid Rose, Director

Rabbi Dovid Rose was born in London, England. After studying Management at University, he spent several years learning in a Yeshiva in Jerusalem, including three years at The Jerusalem Kollel under the tutelage of Rabbi Yitzchak Berkowits, from whom he received Semicha in 2004. He moved to Berlin with his wife Talya in 2005 and they have four children.

Rabbi Shaul Nekritch

Rabbi Nekritch was born in St. Petersburg and after leaving Russia spent many years studying in Israel and the United States. He leads the entry year program and works closely with the students to develop fluency in Hebrew reading skills. He is known for his warm and  easy-going personality. Rabbi Nekritch and his wife Dvora live with their three daughters next door to the yeshiva.
