The groups:
All of our three groups - Rimon, Gefen and Tamar - are homogeneous groups of boys and girls
Rimon ages 1.5 to 2.5
Gefen ages 2.5 to 4
Tamar ages 4 to 5
The curriculum offered in each group is carefully thought through and is designed to match the abilities and necessities of each age group.
Curriculum:
Our curriculum reflects our mission and in addition follows the Berliner Bildungs Program. It aims to intertwine the wisdom of Jewish “halacha” with the world we live in today.
Using all mediums we intend to convey a full and healthy love for learning and love for Jewish tradition.
The weekly parasha is experienced not only through arts and crafts but also by moral conclusions.
Jewish holidays are celebrated in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Music and movement classes are given in Hebrew.
Nature and socio-cultural excursions are offered on a monthly basis making regular outings to the post office, the police department, the library etc. In addition, our older children visit an artist’s workshop with stress on the Montessori Method on a regular basis.
As most of our families are of diverse immigrant backgrounds, we place much value on introducing and exposing our children to German culture in Berlin.
